Agreement

By using WatchOwl ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

WatchOwl provides AI-powered website monitoring. We capture screenshots of web pages you specify, detect visual changes, and provide AI-generated summaries of what changed. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Monitor websites you don't have permission to access
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limits
  • Monitor login-protected pages or private content
  • Use the Service to harass or harm others
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our systems

Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance. By subscribing, you also agree to their terms of service.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard
  • Paddle handles all sales tax and VAT automatically
  • Refunds are available within 14 days (see our refund policy)

Monitor Ownership

You retain ownership of the URLs you choose to monitor. We claim no ownership of monitored websites or the screenshots we capture on your behalf. Screenshots are stored securely and deleted after 30 days.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for accurate change detection, we do not guarantee detection of all website changes. Some dynamic content may not be captured accurately.

Limitation of Liability

TechyOwls shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
